State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) continues to adapt to global challenges through out the collaboration & sharing of Big Data.

As a first step, SOEs under the Deputy of Energy, Logistics, Regions, and Tourism will conduct the integration of Big Data Logistics & Digitalization.

Witnessed by Deputy Energy, Logistic, Region and Tourism Ministry of SOE Edwin Hidayat Abdullah, PT Sarinah (Persero) and PT PPI (Persero), PT BGR (Persero) and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) signed charter sharing economic platform project (Product, Fleet, Warehouse, Property) at the office of the Ministry of SOEs, last week.

The signing was a "Joint Commitment" previously signed by PT Sarinah, PT Trading Company Indonesia, PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa and PT Pos Indonesia at Radisson Hotel Batam on May 18, 2017.

Big Data Logistics & Digitalization is a program of improving & uniforming logistic data of SOEs through digital system.

In his speech, Edwin Hidayat Abdullah Deputy Energy, Logistics, Region, and Tourism said that the success of the plan should be supported by "Mindset", "Skillset" and "Toolset".

"This momentum is a commitment to prepare toolset and skillset.Mindset is the responsibility of all BUMN Directors in becoming agent of change," Edwin said as broadcasted by the official website of the Ministry of SOEs.

On July 18, 2017, PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CV Ninurakur, located at Graha PPI, Jakarta.

PT PPI as the first party represented by Trisilo Ari Setyawan as Commercial Director, and CV Ninurakur represented by Wolter Benny Hesegem as Silent Pesero, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

The purpose and objective of this MoU is to stipulate an agreement between PT PPI and CV Ninurakur in order to fulfill the needs of CV Ninurakur by PT PPI in terms of sales of cement products.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding covers the sale of cement products by PT PPI to CV Ninurakur and / or other profitable cooperative forms, as well as a second agreement to sell cement products at the highest retail price (HET) as determined at meetings attended by parties and PT Cement Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, on July 14, 2017.

The Ministry of SOE held Halal Bihalal on July 12, 2017. PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) acted as the host by organizing the event at Red Shop, Heritage Building in Jakarta which is also one of the assets of the state-owned company.

Attending the event, Minister of SOE, Rini M. Soemarno, and all President Director of SOE & President Commissioner of SOEs.

This activity is a tradition in order to increase and strengthen the ropes of the big family of BUMN after Idul fitri holiday.

"SOEs simultaneously and vibrantly fill the month of Ramadan with a series of positive activities in the form of study, breaking fast together, social service, and other constructive activities while maintaining the diversity principle," said Minister Rini.

SOEs always strive to be present in the middle of the public. With the tagline SOEs Present To The State, SOEs also synergize to provide support and special preparations in Lebaran operations in 2017, so the implementation of mudik much better than last year.

In the long run, SOEs continue to realize Indonesia's vision as a world maritime axis by increasing the capacity of ports, especially in eastern Indonesia. In addition, air connectivity is also continuously enhanced through airport development, while land connectivity is driven through the construction of mass transport of LRT, fast trains, and the construction of toll roads.

Housing SOEs will also continue to support the realization of the development program of a million homes. In 2017 it is targeted as many as 842 thousand houses, of which 84% is a contribution of SOEs. SOEs are also actively involved in realizing social justice through the Government's One Price Policy for fuel, cement, rice, sugar and cooking oil.

On that occasion, Rini also reminded that big tasks exist in SOEs as well as the importance of the spirit of synergy and collaboration among all stakeholders, both the Commissioners and the Board of Directors should understand their duties and authority well, each and perform their roles and functions according to the rules legislation.

The event, held in one of the oldest buildings in Jakarta, went well with a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

The Red Shop itself is a relic of the Dutch colonial building located on the west bank of Kali Besar, Old City of Jakarta, built in 1730 and is one of the oldest buildings in Jakarta.

After Indonesia became independent, Red Shop changed through the phases of change of hand ownership of the office which one of them is PT. Satya Niaga in 1964. Subsequently in 1977 it changed into PT Dharma Niaga (and became PT Indonesian Trading Company after the merger).

In the 1990s, Red Shop was made a Heritage Building based on Law no. 5 of 1992 and the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta no. 475 Dated March 29, 1993.

On June 19, 2017, PT PPI celebrated its 14th anniversary by organizing an iftar event and giving compensation for orphans at the PPI Head Office.

At the event, there was also a cutting of tumpeng, tausyiah from Ustadz. Imam Zahrozi, and giving awards to employees with a certain period of service, announcement of PPI anniversary birthday video contest and PPI's year-round bazaar best bazaar booth contest.

On May 16, 2017, Mou was signed between PPI and the Furniture Industry and Craft Association of Nusantara (HIMKI) on Provision of Raw Materials / Rattan Resources, located at Garuda Field, Tegalwangi Village, Weru Sub-district, Cirebon Regency.

Agus Andiyani as President Director of PPI and Soenoto as Chairman Himki signed the memorandum of understanding.

The purpose and objective of this MoU is to stipulate the understanding between PPI and HIMKI in order to fulfill the need of HIMKI by PPI in providing raw material of wood and rattan and supporting material in every industrial center to fulfill requirement of raw material of furniture and craft industry.

At the event, HIMKI also declared May 16th as the Day of Indonesian Furniture (HMI). They also hope that the government and the community use Indonesian furniture and handicrafts.

Soenoto said, Cirebon was chosen as a place of declaration because it is known as the largest rattan industry and affect the Indonesian economy.

Determination of HMI is intended to encourage nationally to love domestic products, especially furniture and handicrafts, and invite all government agencies to provide examples in the use of Indonesian furniture and handicraft products. The majority of HIMKI members are small medium enterprises (SMEs). Therefore, government support is needed to help SMEs.

Previously, the Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto said that his side and business actors are preparing action plans in order to spur the performance of the national furniture and craft industry in order to grow and competitiveness.

According Menperin, it will facilitate the establishment of raw material center to meet the needs of production of furniture and handicraft industry in the country. For this reason, the MOU is held on the procurement of raw materials of rattan and the marketing of rattan industry products between HIMKI, PPI and PT Sarinah.

Commercial Director of PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI) (Persero) Trisilo Ari Setiawan said that he will cooperate with Nahdliyin Business Union (HPN) in a new program, Warung Ramadhan.

"Insha Allah (will hold HPN), was from our discussion today (good) response from temen-temen HPN from all provinces," said Trisilo Ari Setiawan after filling the National Economic Halaqah event at PBNU Building, Jakarta, Saturday (6 / 5).

According to Trisilo, Warung Ramadhan program was established in order to maintain price stability during the Eid period. The program is scheduled to be operational on May 18 - July 3, and will be conducted in all provinces in Indonesia.

"So later in every PPI stall network the price does not go up during Ramadlan until 2 weeks after (Lebaran)," explained Trisilo.

As for the format of market operations, he said, will still be implemented periodically through mobile cars, rather than using a tent.

On April 25, 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding signed between PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) and PT Warung Desa on Cooperation of Rice Paddy Processing into Rice.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was conducted at PPI Head Office, represented by Trisilo Aro Setyawan as PPI Commercial Director and Hendar Wirawan as President Director of PT Warung Desa.

The purpose and objective of this MoU is to stipulate an understanding between PPI and PT Warung Desa to lead to cooperation in processing rice to rice in Sragen regency and / or other forms of cooperation that will be agreed upon by both parties.

The scope of this Memorandum of Understanding includes: Maintaining the stabilization of the price of grain commodities from farmers' groups in Sragen and its surrounding areas, especially in relation to the need for quality rice at affordable prices by the people who will become the center of PPI RICE production; Maintaining the stabilization of rice commodity prices for Sragen and its surrounding areas whose rice comes from PT Warung Desa as the source of rice production that will be used by PPI; Management of stock of goods for internal and external needs under the auspices of PPI and PT Warung Desa cooperation; PPI and PT Warung Desa jointly provide guidance to farmers to improve productivity and quality in accordance with the standards desired by the PPI.

PPI entered into cooperation with the Government of Sragen Regency in the field of marketing of superior products owned by Sragen out of the region.

PPI will also supply basic commodities to be marketed in village stalls managed by BUMDes.

After the signing of the MoU, Sragen Regent Kusdinar Untung Yuni Sukowati conveyed, the cooperation with PPI is expected to accelerate economic growth.

With the presence of village stalls managed by the BUMDes, it is expected to mobilize the economy in each village and by itself will reduce the poverty rate and unemployment rate.

Currently there are already 37 villages that are ready with BUMDes and certainly become an example and motivation for 171 villages that have not yet formed BUMDes.

With considerable village funds, each village can solve all the problems. The most basic is the problem of poverty in rural areas.
