PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) with the American Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (AAIC) signed an MoU on the promotion of bilateral trade and sustainable economic
development in the private sector and public sector between Indonesia and the United States, on April 25, 2019, at the PPI Head Office . This is fostering shared interests and considering that PT PPI and AAIC strongly believe in the complementary nature of each of the private and public initiative systems
to promote bilateral trade and sustainable economic development. Therefore, it was agreed between PT PPI, represented by Yaniarsyah Hasan as Director of International Trade and AAIC,
represented by Wayne Forrest as president, that both parties would take the initiative to exchange trade, market and economic information,
and to disseminate information on business socialites about goods, services, and possible partnerships that may be available from one or both parties. PT PPI and AAIC will also inform each other at trade shows, exhibitions and similar events that promote products from both parties. PT PPI and AAIC will also sponsor and promote both trade visits and industrial missions. In addition,
PT PPI and AAIC will also conduct joint market studies on sectors that provide interest for both. PT PPI and AAIC will take all possible and feasible steps to promote trade and sustainable economic cooperation between the two.


PT Indonesian Trading Company (Persero) and PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII signed a memorandum of understanding on the Cooperation of Coffee, Tea,

Palm Oil and Downstream Industrial Products Commodities.

The Memorandum of Understanding is made based on the principles of equality, good faith and mutual benefit, while still paying attention and respecting the principles of management or good corporate governance and adapted to the institutional functions of each of the two parties while observing and respect the rules and regulations that apply.

The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to realize the synergy of cooperation between PT PPI and PTPN in the post-harvest management and purchase of coffee commodities and other commodity marketing activities, namely tea, palm oil and downstream industries by fulfilling its basic principles.




The series of Indonesia Food & Beverage Expo held in Davao City, Philippines.

PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) participated in the event organized by the Republic of Indonesia Consulate General for the City of Davao which was opened by the Mayor of Davao, Sara Duterte, who is also the daughter of the Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte.

This event was an event to promote Indonesia-Philippines economic relations through business networks.

More than eight thousand visitors packed the expo. The visitors came from businessmen, traders, chamber of commerce, media and the public from Davao and other cities in Mindanao.

PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) melakukan penanaman pohon Mangrove dalam rangka Program Bina Lingkungan, yang dilaksanakan di Kawasan Pusat Restorasi dan Pembelajaran Mangrove (PRPM) Muara Tawar, Kabupaten Bekasi, pada tanggal 10 Juli 2018.

Dengan tajuk “Lestarikan Mangrove untuk Bumi yang Lebih Baik”, para insan PPI terjun langsung untuk menanam bibit-bibit mangrove ke dalam kolam lumpur. Kegiatan ini diharapkan bisa membuat lingkungan sekitar lebih tangguh akibat perubahan iklim, rob, perubahan angin dan upaya mitigasi ini dapat mengurangi resiko bencana, baik melalui pembangunan fisik maupun penyadaran dan peningkatan kemampuan menghadapi ancaman bencana.

Kegiatan juga dilakukan dengan pemberian santunan untuk anak-anak yatim yang berada di sekitar kawasan (PRPM).

Bina Lingkungan adalah program wajib ihwal pemberdayaan kondisi sosial masyarakat oleh BUMN. Selama ini PPI turut aktif melakukan selain Bina Lingkungan, juga Program Kemitraan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan usaha kecil agar menjadi tangguh dan mandiri.




Kegiatan penanaman mangrove ini merupakan salah satu kegiatan dalam rangkaian HUT PT PPI yang ke-15.

Moda transportasi yang cepat ihwal pendistribusian tentu akan sangat membantu permintaan masyarakat Wamena akan kebutuhan semen dan sembako.

On February 27, 2018, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) (PT PPI) and Suyndo Import Export PTY LTD on Export of Food Commodities and Non-Food Commodities.

This is the first step of exclusive partnership cooperation between the two companies in exploring and increasing exports (and in the second step imports between Indonesia and Australia and Europe and Asia, including but not limited to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and others). This will be done by selling all types of PT PPI commodities through Suyndo's sales and marketing network. In the early stages, the two companies will begin to focus on commodity exports such as coffee, tea, black pepper, spices, cooking oil, and foodstuff imports.

Surely this will create synergies in accordance with the competence of each party in utilizing the potential of both companies with respect to and uphold the principles of eligibility, mutual benefit, and for the benefit of Indonesia and the two companies.

As we know, the Criteria for Superior Performance Appraisal (KPKU) is mandatory to be practiced in the environment of SOEs. The implementation of KPKU is motivated by the demands of SOEs to be able to improve their competitiveness while ready to face the era of free market of ASEAN Economic Community.

Based on the KPKU, each SOE can assess all elements of the company that affect the company's management, process improvement, and improvement of results. With the KPKU as a guide and measuring tool, SOEs are expected to design the benefits of organizational performance, diagnose the overall performance management system, identify weaknesses and strengths of the organization, and assess performance improvement efforts.

Similarly, PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) (PPI). From 19 February to 23 February, an assessment was opened and the introduction of directors and PPI structural officers by the President Director.

  • Facilitate communication and share information on best practices.
  • Serves as a working tool for understanding and managing performance and for guiding organizational planning and learning.

KPKU is designed to provide an integrated approach (method/system) in the management of SOE performance aimed at producing the following:

  • Submission of ever-increasing value to customers and to other stakeholders thereby impacting the company's sustainability.
  • Increased effectiveness and Individuals.

Assessment KPKU in this PPI is the 5th time held, where the score of the company always rises every year.

With the evaluation of KPKU implementation, PPI is expected to improve its performance so that it can compete with competitors in the domestic market and overseas competitors (global market) and increasing the prosperity of society.

In order to enliven the National Press Day (HPN) 2018, SOE Minister Rini M. Soemarno handed over the CSR support of SOEs to the people of West Sumatra with the headline "SOE Synergy Support West Sumatra as Tourism Destination" at Muaro Lasak Beach, Padang, West Sumatra on Thursday, February 8 2018.

In her speech, Minister Rini conveyed that, "West Sumatra has a beautiful culture and nature. Many tourism potentials can be developed. Through this SOE synergy we support West Sumatra as a leading tourist destination." The synergy of SOEs is not only in the effort to strengthen SOEs from the business side, but also in the social field to help local governments and communities develop themselves. "CSR assistance in West Sumatra is a form of support to local governments and the tourism community directly," he explained.

As for the development of human resources, 1,100 people are trained to have the ability as a tour guide.

Minister Rini advised that physical assistance should be maintained and properly cared for. "This public facility is built for the benefit of the public. Do not just build it, after it is left damaged. Public facilities built by SOEs is a facility that many people need to West Sumatra," she said.
