within the SOE. The application of KPKU is motivated by demands for SOEs to be able to increase competitiveness while
at the same time preparing to face the era of the free market of the ASEAN Economic Community. By referring to the KPKU, each BUMN can assess all elements in the company that have an influence on the management
of the company, improvement of the process, and increase in yield. With the existence of KPKU as a guideline and
measuring instrument, SOEs are expected to be able to design excellence in organizational performance, diagnose overall
performance management systems, identify weaknesses and strengths of the organization, and assess efforts to improve
performance. Likewise PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero). On June 22 until June 28, 2019, the opening of the assessment
and introduction of the directors and structural officials of the PPI by the President Director. KPKU has three important roles in strengthening BUMN competitiveness:     1. PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) holds a low-cost market for basic commodities for the community ahead of Eid at the Taruna Remaja Field, Gorontalo City, Gorontalo Province, Tuesday 28 May 2019.

As many as 2,000 packages of staples provided in the low-cost market, which is a series of BUMN activities, attended to the country (BHUN).

In general, this BHUN activity is an activity carried out simultaneously, with Bank Mandiri as the PIC of the event.

PT Indonesian Trading Company (Persero) continues to distribute cheap food packages in several cities in Indonesia.

PT PPI was part of the Ministry of BUMN Program which held a social awareness action program entitled Cheap Food Ramadhan 1440 Hijriah, 
which was simultaneously held in 40 Subdistricts in 3 Provinces namely DKI, Banten and West Java, from 18 May 2019 to the fourth week in May this year . ㅤ ㅤ As on May 24, 2019, PT PPI held a cheap food package activity in Cipunagara, Subang. The package contains 1 kg of rice,
1 liter of cooking oil, 250 gr of salt, sugar of 450 gr and sardines 425 gr. The IDR 42,500 package sells for IDR 10,000.
The contents of the cheap food package are BUMN products including PT PPI. This activity is not merely a commercial sale, but rather a corporate social responsibility to the community.
The event was also included in the series of the 16th PT PPI Anniversary, which in addition to holding the food package,
also provided compensation to orphans in the Cipunagara sub-district, Subang. The number of enthusiastic community of around 3,000 is proof that this program is highly anticipated by the local community.

PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) provides assistance to victims of land movement disasters in Kertaangasana Village, Sukabumi, on April 29, 2019.

Coordinating the local Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), assistance provided by PT PPI in the form of snacks, instant noodles, milk, trampers, toiletries, and others.

The assistance was symbolically handed over by Mayer Simanjuntak as the Head of the Sukabumi BUMN Shop Implementation Project Team.

PT PPI and BNI are appointed as SOE Coordinators while administering donors' SOE assistance so that the assistance to disaster victims is on target, the right amount, and as needed.

 Bahan Bangunan Lombok

An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale that hit Lombok in mid-2018 caused suffering to the people. Optimizing the role of state companies in the context of accelerating rehabilitation and reconstruction after the earthquake disaster was carried out quickly.

Efforts that have been made by the Ministry of SOEs and SOEs include establishing rehabilitation centers for handling trauma, building viable and earthquake resistant temporary housing, MCK, health assistance, and loans to farmers for working capital.

and to disseminate information on business socialites about goods, services, and possible partnerships that may be available from one or both parties. PT PPI and AAIC will also inform each other at trade shows, exhibitions and similar events that promote products from both parties. PT PPI and AAIC will also sponsor and promote both trade visits and industrial missions. In addition,
PT PPI and AAIC will also conduct joint market studies on sectors that provide interest for both. PT PPI and AAIC will take all possible and feasible steps to promote trade and sustainable economic cooperation between the two.


PT Indonesian Trading Company (Persero) and PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII signed a memorandum of understanding on the Cooperation of Coffee, Tea,

Palm Oil and Downstream Industrial Products Commodities.

The series of Indonesia Food & Beverage Expo held in Davao City, Philippines.

PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (Persero) participated in the event organized by the Republic of Indonesia Consulate General for the City of Davao which was opened by the Mayor of Davao, Sara Duterte, who is also the daughter of the Philippine President, Rodrigo Duterte.

This event was an event to promote Indonesia-Philippines economic relations through business networks.

More than eight thousand visitors packed the expo. The visitors came from businessmen, traders, chamber of commerce, media and the public from Davao and other cities in Mindanao.
